Our morning ritual of waking and our ritual before sleep frame the contents of our daily lives, our connection with the earth, with spirit, and with one another.
Let’s make our morning breath and movement, old yoga practices from Kumar Pallana whose life we celebrate today. December 23, 1918 — October 10, 2013.
Although many more practices advance from these initial nine positions, today’s sequence can keep you bus until you can repeat each move in three sets of nine repetitions. Try these and let me know what you feel. Include any observations.

These images ore from Thomas Myers’ Anatomy Trains.
Kumar taught me these channels via postures without pictures and without a formal description. He taught me by the pose. When I discovered Thomas Myers’ body maps of these lines in 2003 (?), it was a beautiful confirmation of what Kumar had been teaching me in his sage-like and direct way.
