Monday enters full moon phase. Look for full breath delivery into the range of your oppositions. If the body is a vessel for breath and attention, then each posture and movement has its full range and depth.
We make postures in three planes. What is the furthest points of opposition in each plane? Can you awaken your imagination to deliver breath into the depth of the oppositions?
The inhale will heighten the sensory reception to identify the active tissues of muscle, nerve, fascia.
Where is there contraction? dilation? What tissues oppose?
The exhale unlocks, releases, liberates.
Deliver breath, life force, prana.
What is needed for hand balances? How do they build? How do we enter and exit? Where is shtira?
Beginning again means asking familiar questions and looking for the answers in the posture, observing what doesn’t work, and what does. Learning twice, and twice again in Beginners Mind.
I recorded this last night because I must be on the road during our usual time. Here we observe three planes of functional spinal movement with breath.
