The morning wake up is here for you —live streaming every Monday through Saturday, 6:30 am Central Time. Free.
In fifteen minutes we gently wake the spine, the breath, and the attention. In addition, we wake the lymphatic system, its plumbing system, and thus metabolic activation. You signal your body to function in all its systems. So with our opening series, you can enter your day better prepared— balanced, aligned, strong, receptive, and ready for action. We aim for presence, our attention dynamically relaxed and responsive.
The second fifteen minutes is set aside for paid supporters of this channel. We go deeper, we go more specific, and you can access more content.
Daily wake up concludes with our random selection from the yoga literature of poets, swamis, yogis, pandits, teachers, and translations of ancient texts. For me, it is like our “yoga fortune cookie.”
Every session is recorded, so you can access any time of the day. To join us live every morning is to awaken the full measure of benefits.
For now we are on two platforms, LOCALS and RUMBLE. The past week they have shifted the backend interface, so thanks for being patient as I get up to speed on their new settings and tech details .
Please like and subscribe, join us daily, and share with your friends.
See you soon. yrs in yoga,

What is needed for hand balances? How do they build? How do we enter and exit? Where is shtira?
Beginning again means asking familiar questions and looking for the answers in the posture, observing what doesn’t work, and what does. Learning twice, and twice again in Beginners Mind.
I recorded this last night because I must be on the road during our usual time. Here we observe three planes of functional spinal movement with breath. I invite you to recall warm-ups of this past week and to practice from whatever you can recall. If you cannot recall, then reboot yr favorite livestream recording and use that.
This week marks the start of a new endeavor at the SAMURAI INTI Martial Arts Studio in Frisco. I’ll be teaching i a group class there at Sendai Sebastian Mejias ‘ dojo on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
